Staff can now access Cottage Stay UK offers and Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre has extended their staff offer
Travel
We are happy to now be able to promote Cottage Stay UK. They are the UK’s largest cottage holiday deals and cottage discount members site. They work with some of the UK’s leading cottage holiday and self catering companies to provide members with year round discounts off 15,000 cottages. Their partners include cottages.com, Hoseasons and Sykes Cottages. Members on average save £52 every time they book one of their deals. 300,000 members receive exclusive last minute cottage deals and late deals via our deal alert email before they are available to everyone else. Examples of the latest deals via Holiday Exclusives are also now available for UK and international travel.
Special occasions
If you are wanting to show a loved one you care FriendinaBox has some beautiful letterbox friendly gift boxes starting from £10. The gift boxes are also sent with a personalised letter. They can wrap a box in brown paper if sending to someone in a high risk category, so that they can discard the outer wrapper, wash their hands and enjoy their box. They can also print letters in a larger font for any elderly recipients who might struggle to read normal size print.
Jodrell Bank

Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre’s amazing outdoor spaces are open Wednesday to Sunday for pre-booked visitors. Events
Sign up to the music, health & wellbeing workshop on 11th November - a partnership with Creative Manchester, the UOM Music Department and the Division of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Work and part of the ESRC festival of Social Sciences. This event explores the significance and impact of musical participation in everyday life on people’s wellbeing, especially for those with dementia or for people who can struggle to be heard using words alone. Book your place here. This will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.

Within our wellbeing resources is supportive information on a range of conditions from leading health focussed charities. Menohealth provided a popular session on brain fog last week.
