Reminder: Interruptions to network connectivity this Saturday

Due to a routine software upgrade, there will be two short periods where connectivity to University services will be interrupted.
This work is planned for Saturday 17 October.
This will affect access to services including email, Blackboard, University websites, GlobalProtect, Remote PC access, wired/Wi-Fi network access on campus and in halls, the video portal and more.
Between 8.30am and 6pm, there will be two interruptions to connectivity for up to five minutes. There is expected to be an additional 15 minutes’ interruption to the GlobalProtect Virtual Private Network.
Due to the nature of the work, it’s not possible to estimate when exactly these interruptions will occur.
