Many people don't have legal expense insurance and therefore should the unthinkable happen and they need legal advice following a serious accident, they are likely to fall into the hands of a no-win no-fee lawyer who is likely to take up to 25% of their compensation (called a success fee) as part of their charges. By using the Serious Injury Scheme, which provides up to £150,000 of legal protection, you will receive 100% of your compensation and be represented by Serious Law LLP, a Tier One Legal 500 recommended law firm who have been handling serious injury cases for over 30 years. Like the Serious Cycle Scheme, membership to the scheme is automatic for all employees of The University of Manchester.
