Water supply disruption in some buildings

Owing to water supply issues United Utilities faced yesterday the following buildings may experience low water pressure until a more permanent fix is put in place

Following the isolation of water supply to the West Campus yesterday, United Utilities (UU) have worked through the night to restore a supply.

They have carried out a temporary repair overnight which will, unfortunately, mean buildings may suffer with low pressure or poor flow through the rest of today.

Buildings affected are:

• Christie Building
• Main Library
• Samuel Alexander Building
• Student Services
• Environmental Services
• Students' Union

UU are due back later today to complete a full and final repair.
