The Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability teams would like to know if you are playing an active role in achieving sustainable development and for every response £2 will be donated to the Big Change Fund to tackle homelessness in Manchester.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the world’s to-do list for increasing social and environmental wellbeing on earth. As part of the University’s social responsibility and environmental sustainability priorities, we are investigating how as a University we contribute to the SDGs. We will develop a publication and web-presence to display this activity.

Many of you are already playing an active role in achieving one or more of the 17 different SDGs through your work – be it through your research, teaching, outreach work or professional services activities. For example you might be researching sustainable development, teaching about inequalities, delivering public engagement activity on gender equality or producing policies on procurement and human resources.

Please share any examples of how you or your team are contributing to the SDGs by filling in this short survey before Friday, 23 November 2018. The survey takes just five minutes per example to complete.

To encourage responses, a donation of £2 will be made to the Big Change Fund to tackle homelessness in Manchester for each participant.
