Your city centre is changing

11 Sep 2018

Transport for Greater Manchester is currently running a conversation alongside Manchester and Salford City Councils to find out what people think of transport and public spaces in the city centre and what they’d like to see improved in the future

As key city centre organisations you will each have your own thoughts on what could be done to improve transport and public spaces on your doorstep and it’s for this reason that we’d like you to get involved and help us to shape the future.

Sharing your views couldn’t be easier as we’ve created an online survey which you can complete by visiting

The conversation closes on 17 October 2018 so there’s plenty of time for you to get involved.

All the feedback we receive will help us to develop the next City Centre Transport Strategy. The last one, which was published in 2010, looked to the year 2020 and saw many new and innovative investments delivered across the city centre. From Metrolink’s Second City Crossing through to the transformation of Oxford Road, the strategy helped support the economic and social growth that the city centre has seen in recent years.

Help us to shape the next wave of city centre investments and get involved in the conversation. Everyone has a view, what’s yours?
