University of Manchester Drama Society - Yellow Icing

Drama Society

The MIFTAS are a series of 8 plays, whether original or published, that take place during February and March 2018, in theatres across Manchester, including the John Thaw Studio Theatre.

This judged season is put together entirely by students, being the writers, directors, producers, actors and designers of all the shows.

The opening production will be:

Yellow Icing

Harper struggles to appreciate the world in her time; destined to be an explorer perhaps she was born too late and the earth is now shrunken and shrivelled. Around her is only decay, the world is beyond its prime yet people still absurdly cling to existence.

Joined by Captain Robert Scott, Harper simply desires to catalogue the animals on her beach, but her family is looming above her.
