Professor Carole Goble from the School of Computer Science has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Maastricht University

Professor Carole Goble, School of Computer Science, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Maastricht University.

Professor Goble received the honour when she spoke at the inauguration of the university's Institute of Data Science, an event coinciding with the anniversary celebrations of Maastricht University.

She was introduced to the audience with this video, which was compiled and produced by Maastricht University.

Joining Carole as a Doctor of Maastricht University honoris causa is Professor Lucy Suchman of Lancaster University, also pictured.
