Make a date in your diaries for the last street food market of 2017!

08 Dec 2017

Levenshulme Market will be on campus for the last time this term on Tuesday, 12 December

Christmas

Come along to Bridgeford Street on Tuesday lunchtime from 11:30am until 2:30pm for the last street food market of the year.

There'll be some of your usual favourite stalls, plus a few new faces - check out the full list of traders

Levenshulme Market will return in spring 2018, but until then, they have this message for all their customers:

"We have LOVED every minute of our pop-up lunchtime markets at The University of Manchester. An enormous thanks to every hungry person who has supported us and our hard-working traders by coming along every week, and for putting up with a queue or two!

An even bigger thanks to our stallholders. You foodie geniuses, you. Lastly, our gratitude to the folks at the University for letting us take over Bridgeford Street every Tuesday."

We look forward to seeing the market return next year!

About Levenshulme Market

The chance to run regular weekly markets and a night market at our University marks further growth for Levenshulme Market, which was launched as a social enterprise in 2013 with a monthly market on the train station car park in Levenshulme. In 2014 the market started operating weekly on Saturdays and in 2015, was revealed as one of just three finalists for Best Food Market in the BBC’s Food and Farming Awards.
