Let’s celebrate Bi Visibility Day

19 Sep 2017

University to fly the flag - and more - on Saturday, 23 September

Bisex flag

It’s Bi Visibility Day on Saturday, 23 September so join in the bisexual community’s celebrations.

This day has been marked since 1999 and is a call for the bisexual community, their friends and supporters to recognise and celebrate bisexuality, bisexual history, bisexual community and culture, and all the bisexual people in their lives.

Here at the University we have a significant bisexual population – with 2% declaring their sexual orientation as ‘bisexual’ in the latest Staff Survey.

We’ll be flying the Bisexual flag around campus where you can also collect a leaflet with more information.

What else can you do?

  • Take a picture of yourself with the flag and Tweet it #BiVisibilityDay
  • Take our quick quiz to see how much you know about the bisexual community already.
  • Join the Bisexual Thunderclap on Twitter.
