General Assembly and Board of Governors election results

There have been several elections held this year, to determine membership of the General Assembly and the Board of Governors from 1 September 2017

The results of these elections are detailed below:

Members of Staff to the General Assembly

Academic staff: 

• Ms Norma Hird

Academic Related staff:

• Ms Roz Webster (re-elected)
• Ms Sandra Milne

Other staff:

• Mr Carl Blake
• Mr Shumit Mandal

All of the above will serve from 1 September 2017 – 31 August 2020.

Members of Senate to the General Assembly

• Professor Andrew Horn
• Dr Jackie Carter

Members of Senate to the Board of Governors

• Professor Aneez Esmail
• Dr Reinmar Hager
• Professor Nalin Thakkar

All of the above will serve from 1 September 2017 – 31 August 2020, or for so long as they continue as members of the Senate.
