Enabling works underway

Ahead of construction works for the Royce at Manchester project, there will be some enabling works to the access road between the Alan Turing Building and the Kilburn/IT building.

Works will comprise modifications to the existing barriers and gatehouse forming the main campus access point (adjacent to entrance to the Aquatics Centre car park). Work is expected to commence Tuesday, 8 August, and will be carried out over a period of two weeks. 

Pedestrian access through the area will be maintained, however a diversion will be in place to avoid the gatehouse area. Alternative access routes will be clearly signed and barriers will be in place throughout the duration of the works.

Vehicular and delivery access to all buildings will be maintained throughout the works.
