Join Qaisra Shahraz at the Kanaris Theatre, Manchester Museum, as she reads from her work and shares her insights

The critically acclaimed, prizewinning international author and winner of the National Diversity ‘Lifetime Achiever’ award, will celebrate the publication of her best-selling first novel 'The Holy Woman' in Mandarin Chinese.

Qaisra will read from her work, and share her life as a writer and as a Muslim woman.

She will discuss her literary tours of China, how she uses her literary work, as a tool, to build cultural bridges and raise awareness about gender, and intercultural issues and her new collection of stories from around the world.

The event is on Monday 22 May from 1pm until 2pm.
