Work continues on upgrading our junk email filtering system

This week, our email team have been working to upgrade our junk email scanning system to enable our new software to be brought online. Three of the four servers have been upgraded, and we plan to upgrade the final server on Monday 27 March.
We'll then begin work to bring the new scanning software into service, setting it up and monitoring the accuracy of the results.
Also, we are working on simplifying the process for staff to submit junk email they have received, to further improve the accuracy of the system so that we can all help to keep the University safe.
We'll post another update on StaffNet by the end of the day on Friday 31 March.
