Be part of the North West’s biggest and best community celebration
Manchester Day organisers are looking for people to take part in the North West’s biggest and best community celebration, on Sunday, 18 June.
The deadline for applications to participate in the event has been extended to Monday, 13 February. You can sign up as a group or an individual.
Manchester Day is an annual event that celebrates everything great about the city. It is a day for families, residents and visitors to get together and celebrate all things Mancunian.
Last year more than 60,000 people enjoyed the sunshine and watched the parade as it snaked its way through the city centre. More than 2,000 people played a part in the event, including 100 Manchester charities, community groups and companies who transformed the city centre into an amazing party!
This year’s Manchester Day is all about magic. You can join in conjuring up wonderful inventions and illusions, bringing our city’s streets alive with stunning costumes, structures and performances.
