Complimentary tickets available for B!RTH debate

13 Sep 2016

We are proud to be the lead academic partner for B!RTH – a global festival of theatre and debate on childbirth inequalities

Baby

As part of our addressing global inequalities research beacon, the University has taken our research expertise around childbirth inequalities to the forefront of this local, national and global debate, which is being featured on the Guardian Live on Saturday 22 October and will see seven play scripts on childbirth issues disseminated around the world as tools for social justice and action.

A number of researchers from various research institutes - including Professor Mukesh Kapila, Professor Mahesh Nirmalan, Professor Tina Lavender, Professor David Hulme, Professor Tony Redmond and more - have advised on the project and provided blogs and lectures ahead of the festival.
