SEA LIFE centres have teamed up with Disney•Pixar to enable their visitors this summer to share the excitement of Finding Dory! Special Disney•Pixar Finding Dory events are now being hosted until 11 September 2016 at the 12 SEA LIFE centres in the UK and Ireland. Visitors will be led on an interactive trail by one of the new Disney•Pixar movie’s star sea creatures Hank (voiced by Ed O’Neill), a cantankerous octopus. Disney•Pixar’s Finding Dory tells the story of Dory’s quest to find her own family, with the help of Nemo and Marlin and new characters like Hank that she meets at a Californian marine rehabilitation centre and aquarium. The Centres hosting the event include Manchester. By using your Merlin staff discount you can access savings of 35%!
Blackwells Bookshop
While current works are ongoing at the University precinct Blackwells and Starbucks have relocated to a purpose built space between Arthur Lewis and the Bridgford building. Palace Theatre
The latest offer is for Save the Last Dance for Me, Monday, 27 June – Saturday, 2 July 2016 with best available seats valid for Monday to Friday Evening Performances. From the team that brought you the huge success that is Dreamboats and Petticoats, Save the Last Dance for Me will take you back through the ‘music and magic’ of the early 60’s. The Palace Theatre is also taking bookings for a backstage theatre tour on either 19 July or 6 September. Commencing at 11am, the tour will last approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours, and please note that you will have to negotiate steps to reach some of the levels of the theatre.
