Sustainability Challenge 2016 staff volunteers needed

13 Jun 2016

Help to deliver the Sustainability Challenge 2016 to all 8,000 1st year undergraduate students

The Sustainability Challenge is part of the University’s Ethical Grand Challenges programme and from September 2016 will be a core element of the UoM Welcome.

We are looking for enthusiastic and approachable members of academic and PSS staff from all parts of the University, including the library and cultural institutions, and PGR students, to take on a number of roles:

  • Facilitators to work directly with groups of students taking part in the Challenge;
  • Event staff to direct students to rooms and help with the running of the event;
  • IT support staff to provide additional AV support alongside building technicians (some IT knowledge required but a briefing will be provided).

The Sustainability Challenge will take place in the morning and afternoon on Tuesday 20th September in 9 buildings across the Oxford Road campus.

If you’d like to volunteer, please visit our website, where you can find out more about the Challenge, and register your interest:
