The Festival returns to Contact Theatre next month
The ability of a single artist to captivate and hold an audience is one of the great performing traditions. Flying Solo Festival celebrates this skill with performances including live art, spoken word, theatre, intimate performance and dance.
Previous recipients of Flying Solo Commissions have included: Nikky Norton Shafau, Sophie Willan, Jackie Hagan, Greg Wohead, Louise Orwin, Hanneke Kruijpers, Dionne Verwey, and Ester Natzijl.
This year's festival runs 5-14 May and features new commissions by Ria Hartley and Jenna Watt, alongside performances by Ben Mellor, Cheryl Martin, Contact Young Company, Kate O'Donnell, Louise Wallwein, Matt Miller and Stuart Bowden.
