Peer Support Celebration Evening 2016

06 Apr 2016

The 18th Annual Peer Support Celebration Evening will take place on Thursday, 5 May

The awards event is always an enjoyable evening for staff and students to meet and celebrate all the work that has been achieved through Peer Support.

The evening is an excellent opportunity to recognise and reward Peer Mentors, PASS Leaders, Student coordinators and various staff for their valued voluntary contributions. Some of our students will speak about the benefits of being involved and the value of Peer Support within their schemes and the wider University.

The awards for Outstanding Contributions to Peer Support and the PASS and Peer Mentoring Scheme of the Year will be presented to the winners. The results will also be announced of the ‘What does PASS or Peer Mentoring mean to your discipline and what makes your scheme unique?’ video competition.

The evening will be held in the Grand Room at The Palace Hotel and the evening will commence at 6:00pm prompt in the Grand Room. A buffet meal will be provided after the presentations and the bar will remain open until 9:00pm. The Palace Hotel is undergoing a large refurbishment which means the main entrance has moved from Oxford Road to around the corner on Whitworth Street, please look out for signs and balloons.
