These Artefact talks explore the collection here and the items the academics talk around will be at the event for all to see and handle where appropriate.

On Thursday, 14 April (5.30pm), Dr Ana Carden Coyne looks at front line treatments during the First World War, exploring the Museum of Medicine and Health collections.

On Thursday, 12 May (5.30pm), Dr Jane Gregory examines the Museum of Medicine and Health ‘self-help’ treatments and looks into phrenology in Manchester.
