Celebrate British Science Week at Body Experience 2016

16 Mar 2016

Come and explore the human body with researchers from the Faculty of Life Sciences and the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences on Saturday, 19 March 2016 (11-4pm) at Manchester Museum

An enthralled audience at Body Experience 2015

Learn how the brain communicates with all the different organs in your body and how it controls your senses. See how the heart works and how your lungs help you breathe. Explore the wonder of the human spine and perform your very own surgery! There will be chance to hold real kidneys and test (fake!) wee. Ever wondered how the immune system works? Come and find out and test your knowledge of which bugs make us poorly for the chance to win a prize.

Collect your passport in the reception area and start your very own 'Body Experience’. This event is running as part of British Science Week.

All are welcome. Suitable for everyone from tots to pensioners.
