Do you live in Fallowfield? Explore its 'Hidden Gems'

14 Mar 2016

Join one of Manchester Student Homes' Community tours on Wednesday, 16 March (2pm)

As part of their ‘Halls 2 Home’ campaign, Manchester Student Homes (MSH) have worked with student volunteers and long term residents to create ‘Hidden Gems’. The project highlights 25 of the local artistic, cultural, environmental and historic ‘gems’ that play an important part in the lives of local community members in Fallowfield and Withington.

They are organising community tours of the Fallowfield Hidden Gem sites. The tours will take place on Wednesday, 16 March 2016 from 2pm from the Manchester Student Homes Office. The purpose of these tours is to bring together both permanent residents and students to learn more about the community and the cultural heritage of Fallowfield and Withington. Local PCSO’s will also be taking part in these tours and may have a story or two to tell as you travel between the sites.

This will be the second round of tours: the first was a huge success and enjoyed by all who attended!

If you are interested in taking part, please send an email to Josh at joshua.payne@manchester.ac.uk or ring Manchester Student Homes on 0161 275 7756.
