Editing podcasts
It’s now possible to create a larger number of ‘edit points’ and update the description of a recording.
Using QR codes to remove unwanted content
Editing a podcast after a lecture isn’t for everyone. Lectures can be automatically ‘edited’ on-the-fly by adding a special QR (Quick Response) code to a lecture slide which will remove it from recording.
Recording non-lecture activities
As the popularity of our podcasting service has grown to 1.8 million views per semester, an increasing number of people have requested to book recordings of non-lecture activities such as meetings or workshops.
We have created an online booking tool which allows any event in a podcasting enabled location to be recorded, providing it is scheduled in the timetable and permission has been granted by the speaker(s).
