WATCH: MECD Time Lapse (Demolition – Phase 1)

09 Dec 2015

Seen from the roof of the National Graphene Institute, the demolition of Bowden Court and Ronson Hall as they make way for the University’s new engineering campus has been captured

The Manchester Engineering Campus Development will be located next to the Manchester Aquatics Centre and will fit on the site bounded by Grosvenor Street, Upper Brook Street and Booth Street East.

It will be one of the largest, single construction projects undertaken by any higher education institution in the UK.

Due to be completed by 2020, the MECD project forms a large part of the University’s £1 billion, ten-year campus masterplan to create a world-class, single campus for staff, students and visitors.
