Green Impact Awards Ceremony

On Thursday, 19 November, the prestigious Whitworth Hall hosted the Green Impact Awards ceremony for teams who participated in the 2014/15 programme
At the recent Green Impact Awards Ceremony 2015, teams received Bronze, Silver or Gold awards to mark the progress they had made in improving their environmental peformance during the past year.
Green Impact is a national environmental accreditation scheme in which teams of staff or students take part by progressing through a workbook of actions and implementing as many as possible in their own area. Each team is then independently assessed by a team of student auditors.
All of the teams' collective efforts were celebrated at the awards ceremony, which also provided the chance to learn about the exciting developments for the programme in the future and to make connections with other team members working locally or in similar environments.
