Have you made a difference with Manchester Settlement?

06 Nov 2015

Have you ever worked with Manchester Settlement? Or have you ever been involved with them outside of work? We need your stories!

Manchester Settlement - New Roundhouse

Manchester Settlement are celebrating their 120th year with a Victorian-themed Christmas event in December and, as part of that event, they would like to showcase stories from people who have been involved with the settlement during the last 120 years.

A registered charity founded in 1895 by the University of Manchester, Manchester Settlement was originally based in the Roundhouse in Ancoats, Manchester. In May 2009, they moved into a new £2.2m centre in Openshaw, from where they now provide a variety of different services, including a school for young people who currently can't access mainstream education, supported accommodation for care leavers, child care, and community classes and activities.

All of your stories are welcome - whether you have served on the board of trustees, worked on a project or used their services.
