Bus to run every ten minutes from 7.20am to 3.30pm
The 147 bus is to run every ten minutes from 7.20am to 3.30pm and every 15 minutes after 3.30pm.
The 147 frequency was reduced from 10 minutes to 15 minutes in August to improve reliability following the closure of both Oxford Road and the Mancunian Way.
The traffic conditions have now improved, but there are still some problems around the hospital during the afternoon, which prevent the ten-minute frequency being fully restored.
There is also an additional vehicle after 3.30pm, between Grafton Street and Piccadilly, to supplement the 15-minute service and to inject additional capacity.
The full restoration of the ten-minute frequency will be made at the earliest opportunity.
