Help promote our upcoming Careers Fairs

Help us introduce our students to exciting further study and career opportunities
The University’s Careers Service is asking staff to promote two upcoming fairs, the Postgraduate Study Fair and the Law Fair, to our students.
Organised by the Careers Service, and taking place at Manchester Central Convention Centre, both fairs are open to students from all degree disciplines and are designed to introduce them to exciting further study and career opportunities.
The Postgraduate Study Fair, on Monday, 16 November, will welcome over 90 exhibitors from the UK and overseas. Our students will be able to get advice on postgraduate courses, and related issues including funding, studying overseas, getting into teaching, and what is involved in studying for a Masters or a PhD.
The Law Fair, on Tuesday, 17 November, will see around 80 exhibitors: a wide range of law firms offering training contracts and placements, legal course providers from throughout the UK, as well as representatives from the Bar who will give information on how to become a barrister. Again, this fair is open to all students – both law and non-law – as many employers seek a diverse workforce.
The Careers Service is committed to encouraging our students to consider both graduate-level employment and postgraduate study as viable options upon graduation.
