With over 80 courses in 17 languages, the University Language Centre offers a wide range of part-time language modules.
Courses range from beginners to Advanced level in most popular languages, with internationally-recognised language examinations offered in some languages, e.g. German and Chinese, and are open to members of staff.
There are many reasons why taking up a language may benefit you. They range from enhanced employability prospects, to just opening a window to a different way of seeing the world. As the Czech proverb says "You live a new life for every new language you speak."
