Mark's heartfelt half marathon

09 Mar 2015

Mark Booth from the School of Materials/School of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science ran the Paris Half Marathon on Sunday, 8 March

It’s the latest in a series of runs which Research Support Officer Mark has undertaken to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

During the last few months, he's taken part in the Rochdale Kingsway 10km, the Oldham Half Marathon and the Men's Health Survival of the Fittest 10k.

Mark completed the Paris Half Marathon in 1 hour, 42 minutes and 55 seconds, which has knocked 51 seconds off his personal best - a great result!

And there's more to come - he will be tackling the BUPA Great Manchester Run in May.
