Re-routed 147 bus will follow new diversion

08 Jan 2014

Hathersage Road and Grafton Street Stops now in use

The 147 bus – diverted while United Utilities carry out essential maintenance along Upper Brook Street – has been re-routed again.

Due to congestion issues with its first alternative route, it will now follow the diversion route.

Both the Hathersage Road and the Grafton Street Stops will now be open. However the three stops on Upper Brook Street will remain closed.

The 147 will turn left out of the hospital boulevard on to Hathersage Road, go straight over Upper Brook Street, along Plymouth Grove and rejoin the normal route at Grafton Street.

Unfortunately there may be punctuality issues at peak times due to traffic congestion in the area. The link service apologises for this but its drivers are doing their best to be as timely as possible.
