Car parking on campus during Christmas and New Year

Information about accessing University car parks during the festive break
Booth Street West multi storey car park
- Closed from midnight on 23 December 2013 until 6am on 2 January 2014.
Booth Street West surface, Cecil Street, and Dilworth Street car parks
- The barriers will be left open between 23 December 2013 and 2 January 2014 to allow free access to parkers.
Charles Street multi storey car park
- From midnight on 23 December to 9am on 26 December 2013, the barriers will be left open to allow free entry and exit;
- From 27 to 30 December 2013 (8am to midnight) the car park will operate as normal, with staff in the cabin;
- From midnight on 30 December 2013, the barriers will be left open to allow free entry and exit on 31 December 2013 and 1 January 2014.
Bridgeford Street, Burlington Street, Devas Street, Dover Street, AQA, Chemistry, University Place, All north campus, Thorncliffe House, Horniman House and Material Science car parks
- The barriers at these car parks will remain in normal operation throughout the closure period and control will be put through to the Precinct Control Room.
Manchester Aquatics Centre car park
- Open on 25/26 December 2013 and 1 January 2014, but not staffed.
