Passionate about science, mathematics or engineering? Then FameLab needs you

02 Dec 2013

Entries for the 2014 FameLab UK competition are now open.

FameLab 2013 international finalists

If you think you can explain a concept in science, mathematics or engineering in just three minutes using only the props you can carry on stage with you, then enter a FameLab competition near you! At each location we offer FREE training and information sessions with top STEM communicators.

To help with your FameLab heats, the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) is offering some free training at the Museum on Friday, 7 February 2014 (10-11am).

Why participate?

"On the surface FameLab looks like it is just a bit of fun but there is a very, very serious underlying purpose here - you just have to look around us to see how science is playing a really fundamental role in understanding our world and where it is going so we need a new generation of people to explain science if the democratic process is going to work effectively." - Roger Highfield, former editor of New Scientist
