Make a Difference installation tours campus

Chance to be inspired by your colleagues' stories

Make a difference roundels

The University campus has been awash with purple roundels in the past couple of weeks all in the name of the social responsibility awareness-raising campaign ahead of the launch of the University’s new strategy.

The campaign continues with the installation of a structure, telling some of the great stories from around the University of people who are making a difference.

The structure was unveiled in the Main Library.

The installation will remain there for a couple of days before being moved to another location on campus as part of a tour ahead of the launch event in November.

“Our aim is to share these inspirational stories of difference with as many people as possible and encourage as many students, teachers, researchers and professional support staff to share their own stories via our blog,” says Director of Social Responsibility Julian Skyrme.

If you only saw a few of the roundels placed around campus, then this is a perfect opportunity to see all of them in one place, each depicting the stories of how staff, students and alumni from across the University are making a difference to society.

  • Do you have your own story to tell? Sharing your own story on the blog and being involved in the campaign is simple and quick; simply submit your story along with a photo or video link to makeadifferencemcr
