A festival of lights for Diwali

In celebration of Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, The John Rylands Library will be transformed in to a place of wonder!

Sunday 3rd November

6.30-9.30pm

The John Rylands Library

Explore the building and create your own light sculptures with LED light cubes. There will be music played by traditional Dhol players and a colourful Baja Band, and you can try out the Dhols for yourself in the drumming workshops.

Diwali and sweets go hand in hand, so there will be delicious unique sweets for you to taste.  Join us for an evening of atmospheric delight!

Drumming workshops at 7.30pm and 8.30pm. FREE, no need to book.
