Live Podcast by the Barometer: Is breathing bad for you?

25 Oct 2013

Find out about air pollution in Manchester and beyond on Tuesday, 29 October (6.30pm for 7pm) at the Manchester Museum (part of Manchester Science Festival)

Could a walk along Oxford Road be bad for your health? With the UK recently exceeding EU air quality standards, air pollution is a hot topic in the media. Discuss air pollution and its effect on human health in a live podcast with the Barometer Podcast team and climate experts. We ask what impact poor air quality has on our health, whether that is at home in the kitchen, at work or when taking a stroll down a busy city centre street like Oxford Road. This is your opportunity to ask a panel of experts from The University of Manchester anything you ever wanted to know about air pollution.

The event is free to attend and is being hosted by the Manchester Museum. Guarantee your place using the ticket link below.

Doors open at 6.30pm with bar available. The event itself will start at 7pm for one hour.
