There are a few simple steps you can take to help secure yourself against malware and viruses.

Remember to ADAPT to protect your data and devices online:

• Antivirus – make sure youhave up-to-date antivirus software installed and your firewall enabled
  
• Downloads – only download software from websites you know and trust
  
• Attachments – stop and think before opening attachments or links in emails
  
• P:drive – save important work to your P:drive where it is regularly backed up
  
• Trusted sites – when browsing the web beaware of sites which try and download programs to your PC
