The Start of Year Fair opens today in the marquee outside University Place
The Fair gives students the chance to find out about a whole range of services and organisations that can help them make the most of their time in Manchester.
University staff will be on hand to provide help and advice on all aspects of life at the University as well as providing students with the opportunity to discover how to make the most of your time outside their academic studies.
The fair will run from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 September.
An example of the exhibitors include the Careers Service, Residential Services and Manchester Student Homes, The University of Manchester Library, SPORT Manchester, Student Support and Wellbeing, Student Finance and Funding, the Students' Union and Food in Advance.
Local GP surgeries are also on hand in University Place to offer advice and guidance about registering with a doctor in Manchester.
