“A fundamental part of your success within your chosen profession has been your constant drive to do the best you can for the communities you serve as well as for your fellow professionals. Your unwavering support of your fellow doctors has been admirable.”

Susan explained that she was both pleased and overwhelmed to receive the award which came as a complete surprise and she is grateful to those who took the time to put forward the nomination. She went on to say that that she is sure that medical colleagues will agree that any form of acknowledgement for doing a job which is generally enjoyable and provides such fulfilment is much appreciated.
