Open Research Exchange: Research Services event open to all

17 Nov 2020

On Wednesday 18 November Research Services are hosting an Open Research Exchange to share the University's plans for supporting and facilitating open research practices.

Open Research (also known as Open Science) is the practice of applying principles of openness to every stage of the research lifecycle.

Openness in research increases transparency and removes access barriers. This approach aligns with The University of Manchester's core aims of advancing knowledge through research and contributing to the wellbeing of society.

Open Research Exchange will give attendees the opportunity to hear from open research practitioners at The University of Manchester.

The event is taking place on Zoom from 10.00-12.30 and is open to all.
