LGBT History Month 2018
The theme for LGBT History Month 2018 is 'Geography: Mapping Our History'.
We already have some events planned which include:
- 6th February 12.30pm: Launch of LGBTHM with documentary screening of 'Global Gay'. Venue: University Place 6.207
- 7th February: The Rainbow Ride in conjunction with UMBUG. Cycle to work in your best rainbow outfit or just a pair of rainbow laces and enjoy a free breakfast.
- 15th February 5.00-6.00pm LGBT Refugee/immigrant/asylum seekers stories. Venue: Ken Kitchen Room.
- 22nd February: The Rainbow Run in conjunction with UMRUN. Run to work in your best rainbow outfit or just a pair of rainbow laces and enjoy a free breakfast.
- 22nd February: Book Group. Meet at Greenhouse Cafe.
- 23rd February: Special theatre performance of Borderland at the Martin Harris Centre sponsored by Barefoot Wines.
- 1st March: Our annual social quiz. Register your interest and team here.
- Launch of an LGBT interactive campus map
There is also be a full timetable of events hosted by the Student LGBTQ Society - staff are invited to join these too.
