New COVID variant

You will no doubt have seen in the news today (26 November) that a new variant of COVID (B.1.1.529) has been detected and raised as being a cause for concern.

While no cases have been reported in the UK, the Government is putting in place travel restrictions and quarantine requirements for a number of African countries.

We will be supporting any staff or students impacted by these restrictions. As we have throughout the pandemic, we are monitoring the situation closely and working with Public Health officials.
