Walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics: on campus and around Manchester

10 Sep 2021

You can get a COVID-19 vaccination at campus walk-in clinics, plus there are pop-up clinics around the centre of Manchester

COVID vaccination

We encourage all staff and students to have one or both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine before they return to campus or as soon as possible after they return. Everyone in the UK aged 16 and over is eligible to receive the vaccine for free – including EU and international students. If necessary, you can have your first and second vaccine doses at different locations.

Walk-in vaccination clinics will be offered during the Welcome period:

Pop-up clinics in Manchester

Manchester City Council is continuing to offer walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations clinics, at a variety of locations around the city centre.

No appointments are needed and you don’t need to be registered with a GP. There will be no immigration checks and you don’t need to bring ID.

Make sure you arrive at least an hour before closing at each clinic to ensure there is time for you to be seen. Unless you are medically exempt, remember to wear a mask and social distance when inside.

You can sign up to receive email alerts about these latest pop-up centres. If you have had your first dose of the vaccine, you need to wait eight weeks before having the second dose. This applies to everyone aside from women attending a pregnancy drop-in where the wait is four weeks.

Some people at high risk from COVID-19 can get earlier appointments for their second dose. Wait to be contacted if you think you're in this group and you've already booked your second dose at 12 weeks.

Prefer to book an appointment?

You can find out how to book your COVID-19 vaccination on the Manchester City Council website or through your local NHS service.

Follow Manchester City Council on social media, or sign up for their email alerts, to stay up to date with the latest pop-up clinics.
