Testing and vaccination
Important information on COVID testing and vaccination:
-
Testing
As of 1 April, 2022, universal free testing for Covid is no longer available and so colleagues are no longer required to continue asymptomatic testing twice a week.
-
Vaccination
Everyone needs to do their bit to minimise the spread of infection, and we would encourage all staff and students who are eligible to get vaccinated before coming on to campus. Read our FAQs on COVID-19 vaccination.

Testing positive
If you do test positive or if have symptoms of Covid, please inform your line manager; we advise you to stay at home and avoid contact with other people, until you feel well enough to resume normal activities and no longer have a high temperature. We recommend people stay at home for at least 5 days after their symptoms first appear.
If you have been in household contact with someone who has Covid but are asymptomatic then you do not have to isolate and can continue to work. If you are able to work from home you may choose to self-isolate for a period of 5 days to reduce the risk to other people.
