How will research look and feel

Research activity will return to pre-pandemic arrangements.  As you would expect the necessary safety measures for each research activity will be in place. This may include the wearing of face coverings as a safety measure for specific activity, outside of COVID requirements. Updated guidance for different types of research activity has also been published.

We strongly encourage everyone to continue to wear a face covering while moving around indoors on campus. There will be some areas where you will be required to wear a face covering as part of local risk assessments, such as small crowded spaces. We will review this in April when the government is expected to make a further announcement about measures we should adopt to stay safe. Face coverings will continue to be available from building entrances around campus. 

Throughout campus risk assessments have taken place to minimise the spread of infection.
