Annual Research Review Exercise

The Research Review Exercise (RRE) is a mandatory exercise, open all year round for eligible staff to propose outputs that they believe are likely to be judged 3* or 4* (world-leading or internationally excellent in terms of originality, significance and rigour) and to update activities and impact profiles in Pure.

As we approach REF2021 submission in March 2021, the faculty has implemented a Rolling RRE process, to capture strong outputs in a timely manner.  Staff are encouraged to propose only their strongest outputs during this period.

The central RRE intranet pages provide useful information including the RRE Criteria and Working Methods, how to select outputs, activities and impact, the RRE timetable and a FAQs section.
