Mandatory Research Integrity Training

The mandatory course for staff needs to be completed by the end of July 2019

The Faculty’s Heads of School are in the process of asking colleagues whose role involves research – and PGR students – to carry out Research Integrity training.

The mandatory course for staff takes one-hour and needs to be completed by the end of July 2019.

Additionally, from August at the latest, the University expects Research Integrity training to be part of the induction process for all new staff.

The training requirement is in accordance with the requirements of the Universities UK concordat to support research integrity. Compliance is required in order for the University and Faculty to receive funding from HEFCE, RCUK and the Wellcome Trust.
