Important notice regarding fire alarms

The campus fire alarm link network is down, connecting all building fire alarms to the security control room

Update: now fixed 09:50am 7 August

All fire alarm systems remain fully operational in all campus buildings, however the control room will not receive a signal when building fire alarms are activated.

Until this network issue is resolved by IT Services, if your building fire alarm is activated, please call 52728 to confirm any building fire alarm activation in order for security to attend and validate any fire alarm activation.

Security will also increase patrols around campus until the problem is resolved.
