Researchfish is an online submission system, which many funders (including the UK Research Councils, Arthritis Research UK, Cancer Research UK, and NIHR) use to collect and evaluate the outputs and outcomes of your research projects.

PIs on active Research Council grants and Research Council Funded students are required to report to Researchfish annually. You can log into the Researchfish submission system and record outcomes at any time throughout the year, but can only ‘submit’ your return during the submission period. Power BI is the University's reporting and analytics tool. Research applications and awards data from the data warehouse is now available in Power BI and standard reports have been shared with users who previously had access to RESEARCH_REPORTING reports in Discoverer. You can apply for access to these reports via the IT Support Portal.

The University of Manchester's annual Research Services Conference was held on Wednesday 28th June 2023 in Roscoe Building. The event followed on from previous conferences where Research Services, Business Engagement and Research Finance colleagues came together to participate in a mixed day of presentations and workshops covering all aspects of research support.
